A Legacy of Justice and Hope

For more than four decades, Women and the Australian Church Inc. (WATAC) has stood as a bold voice for equality, justice, and compassion in the Catholic Church and beyond. Together, we’ve celebrated women’s leadership, challenged unjust structures, and nurtured a vision of faith that is inclusive, prophetic, and life-giving. Many of us joined WATAC because we believe the Church — and the world — can be more just. We’ve shared prayers and protests, ideas and inspiration. And while none of us can predict the future, we can help shape it. One of the most powerful ways to ensure WATAC’s mission continues is by remembering us in your Will. A bequest, no matter the size, is a gift that keeps the flame of feminist faith alive for future generations. Your legacy could:
  • Support programs that amplify women’s voices in the Church.
  • Fund scholarships and opportunities for emerging feminist theologians.
  • Resource advocacy that brings justice to the margins.
  • Keep the WATAC network thriving for decades to come.
