JULIA BAIRD

Julia Baird is an award-winning journalist and best-selling author whose work explores spirituality, grace, and resilience. Her books Phosphorescence and Bright Shining reflect her search for awe in everyday life. A former host of The Drum, she’s known for thoughtful reporting, especially on gender, politics, and domestic violence.

CATHY MCGOWAN

Cathy McGowan AO is a former independent MP for Indi (2013–2019) who championed social justice by amplifying rural voices, advancing gender equity, and advocating for Indigenous constitutional recognition and humane asylum seeker policies. A trailblazer in community-led politics, she inspired a national movement of independent candidates focused on integrity and inclusion.
