Experience a thriving alternative to hierarchical, clerical church where reform is being kicked down the road. Explore what’s possible with a creative, collaborative gathering hosted by WATAC.
In seasons of change, we long for spaces that speak to both our faith and our lived experience. The Women and the Australian Church (WATAC) Conference is such a space—a sacred gathering where questions are welcomed, stories are honoured, and bold hope is nurtured. Whether you come curious, weary, inspired, or unsure, you’ll find companions on the journey toward a more expansive, authentic expression of faith.
This conference offers more than conversation. It offers connection. A place to explore how feminism and Christianity might not only coexist, but enrich one another. A chance to imagine a spirituality that is inclusive, courageous, and deeply rooted in justice. It’s an invitation to belong to a community where your voice matters.
For those wondering how to hold onto faith in a patriarchal Church, for those seeking renewal, for those ready to co-create something new—this is for you. Come as you are. Bring a friend. Or sponsor someone who’s still finding their way. Together, we’ll listen, reflect, and dream our way forward.
